AADHAAR Camera VDM Components 1.2

AADHAAR Camera VDM Components is a set of system services and libraries developed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to enable secure, standards-compliant use of camera hardware for Aadhaar Face Authentication. It implements the Vendor Device Manager (VDM) layer defined in UIDAI’s Registered Device (RD) specifications, handling camera discovery, policy enforcement, and the secure capture and packaging of facial biometrics for use in authorized Aadhaar authentication workflows. Built for integrators, AUA/KUA partners, and application developers, it streamlines compliance, improves interoperability across certified camera devices, and provides a stable interface for Aadhaar-enabled applications.
